Start with measurable scope
Room count is only useful when the meaning of an area is defined. My Cleaner currently uses standard carpeted areas up to 150 square feet in its Carpet Refresh package, then asks about additional areas and stairs.
Open floor plans, oversized rooms, hallways, landings, and furnished spaces can change labor and treatment needs. That is why the quote application collects more than a single room number.
Condition matters
Routine soil, a fresh spill, old traffic lanes, pet urine, protector, and specialty spotting are different jobs. Pet urine may reach backing or padding and cannot responsibly be priced as a basic deodorizer before the extent is known.
Photos can help with visible scope, but they cannot always show odor depth, fiber damage, or what is below the carpet.
How to compare quotes
Compare included area size, pretreatment, deodorizer, stairs, furniture movement, minimum charge, specialty treatment, and whether final scope is confirmed before arrival.
A lower headline price can become a poor comparison if the definitions are hidden. Clear starting prices and condition questions reduce that surprise.
Questions people ask
What is My Cleaner's starting carpet package?
Carpet Refresh starts at $179 for up to three standard carpeted areas, each up to 150 square feet, with visible-stain pretreatment and deodorizer.
Does pet urine cost extra?
Deeper urine treatment can change the price because contamination may extend below the visible carpet surface.
Can I get a price before giving my full address?
Yes. The guided quote begins with town or ZIP and job details. The service address can be confirmed later.
